University Clothing House Expands Reach with New Improvements

15.03.2025

The “Clothing House Enhancement Initiative,” aimed at increasing the capacity of our university’s Clothing House and providing more effective support to financially challenged individuals, has been successfully completed. The project was coordinated by the Social Responsibility Coordination Office in collaboration with the SKS Unit (Health, Culture, and Sports), implementing the necessary modifications.
As part of these efforts, the clothing racks and storage areas were reorganized, and software solutions were introduced to systematically record and distribute donations. Volunteer students played a vital role in the initiative, working diligently to identify needs and ensure that clothing was allocated appropriately.
The Social Responsibility Coordination Office emphasized that this project’s sustainable support mechanism significantly contributes to fostering a culture of social awareness within the university. They also announced that clothing donations will continue to be collected at regular intervals, allowing anyone in need to access the Clothing House during designated days and times.
